Dr. George Chloupis is practicing law since June 1996. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School in 1994. He is holder of a diploma from the Willem Pompe Institute of the University of Utrecht (1997). He has obtained a postgraduate degree on 1997 from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He completed his PhD in Law at the University of Athens Law School on 2004  (Ph.D. thesis: “Cross-border and transnational organized crime and ways of dealing with it”).

He is Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminal Policy at the European University of Cyprus.

He has over twenty years of teaching experience, attending conferences in Greece and abroad.

He has published books, various articles, and has participated in law-making and scientific committees.
